A Brief History

KNG Mechanical was founded in 1976 by Gary and Keith Nuutinen in Marengo, Wisconsin. In 1987, KNG Mechanical expanded and opened a shop in the Eau Claire area.

When Gary retired in 1998, the Marengo operation closed. Shirley, Keith's wife, purchased Gary's stock and became company president. KNG Mechanical purchased a new facility in Chippewa Falls to accomodate our corporate office and increased fabrication areas.

In 2001, we obtained our National "R" and "NB" stamps.

In 2003, KNG Mechanical was purchased by Mark and Barb Connell. Mark and Barb continuously strive to provide the highest level of customer service that our clients have come to expect over the years.
